I want to know about myself.
I want to know about myself.
The window going to nowhere.
The window going to nowhere.
I want to know about the nowhere
window, going to myself.
My hand is a faltering filter.
My hand is a faltering filter.
My mind a cracking sieve.
My mind a cracking sieve.
Cracking my hand, a sieve,
a filter; my mind is faltering.
The summer world I lost is spinning.
The summer world I lost is spinning.
The moon is dripping water.
The moon is dripping water.
Spinning the moon, I lost water.
The world is summer, is dripping.
The window is a sieve cracking,
water dripping, spinning,
faltering. Summer is a filter
to my mind, going nowhere.
My hand is the world I lost, the moon.
I want to know about myself.

Write a paradelle. Just do it. Do it now.
I figured that if I was hosting a paradelle challenge I ought to write and submit one myself, regardless of the quality, so here it is.
I've written better paradelles than this, but the first line is a pretty significant one for me, so I wanted to see what I could do if I framed the paradelle with that. The actual line was originally in Japanese, from Maaya Sakamoto's song, Hemisphere: 僕は僕のことが知りたい。 (Boku wa boku no koto ga shiritai, literally "I want to know about myself.")
